Dhanwanthararishtam is a supplementary ayurvedic medicine for nerve regeneration manufactured by Kerala Ayurveda that can help patients undergoing nerve-related treatments. This medicine is an arishtam made from fermented herbs and is named after Dhanwanthari, the God of medicine. It strengthens muscles and nerves. It is used for Vata disorders leading to paralysis and other related problems. Dhanwantharaishtam is also used for postpartum recovery, where it can be very helpful in treating all nerve and muscle-related problems.

 



 

Dhanwantharaistham has the following ingredients:

Dhataki

  • Dhataki or Woodfordia fruticosa is known as fire flame bush.

  • It is one of the main components used to prepare arishta and asava ayurvedic formulations.

  • It acts as a fermenting agent in the medicine preparation process.

Balamoola

  • Balamoola or Sida cordifolia is known as the country mallow.

  • It helps to improve strength and provides nourishment to the body.

  • It balances all the three doshas.

  • It is used to prepare medicines to improve strength.

Yava

  • Yava or Hordeum vulgare is commonly known as barley.

Kakoli

  • Kakoli or Rosacea purpurea is a part of Ashtavarga or eight groups of medicines
