One of the best traditional ayurvedic medicine. Nothing wrong with the product. Always a great medicine for an upset stomach

Feeling tightness or heaviness in the stomach for no specific reason can be an inconvenient experience. Also, it may often come with nausea after heavy meals. And if you often have to deal with stomach cramps and bloating, it may result from indigestion or Ama (as Ayurveda suggests).

For such concerns, Kerala Ayurveda’s Dasamoolarishta can be an effective carminative and digestive formula to find relief from frequent belching, bloating, and indigestion.

Click on the next tabs to find out about its ingredients, benefits, recommended dosage, and the results that it may create.

Dasamoolarishtam comprises the following ingredients:

  • Dasamoola- combination of root of 10 herbs that balance Vata and reduce indigestion
    1. Bilva (Aegle marmelos)
    2. Syonaka (Oroxylum indicum)
    3. Gambhari (Gmelina arborea)
    4. Patala (Stereospermum suaveolens)
    5. Agnimantha (Premna integrifolia)
    6. Salaparni (Desmodium gangeticum)
    7. Prishniparni (Uraria picta)
    8. Brahati (Solanum indicum)
    9. Kantakari (Solanum surattense)
    10. Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris)
  • Chitraka (Plumbago zeylanica)- relieves indigestion

The recommended dosage for adults is 2-3 teaspoons (15-25 ml) twice a day after meals. However, for children, the dosage should be reduced to 1-2 teaspoons twice a day after meals, or as prescribed by an Ayurvedic doctor. Seek a recommendation from an Ayurveda Doctor for long-term use. Colour and consistency may vary between batches because of the seasonal variation; however, efficacy remains the same.

Not suitable for pregnant women. If you are prone to acidity, add an equal amount of water and arishtam, consume it immediately after your food, and avoid taking it at night.

For best results, it’s advisable to use it consistently for at least two to three months.

Dasamoolarishtam can help you manage various digestive concerns. Here are some of the benefits that it has to offer:

  • Potent formula: Arishtam is a herbal supplement which is prepared by fermenting the decoction of herbs and spices. Fermentation allows the properties of the herbs to be extracted into an easily palatable form while improving the shelf-life, therapeutic action, and the formulation’s concentration.
  • Eases bloating and indigestion: Dasamoolarishtam is a blend of carminative herbs that can offer long-lasting relief from abdominal gas symptoms, such as belching, bloating, and indigestion.
  • Restores appetite: Dasamoolarishtam can help relieve heaviness and stimulate digestive enzymes because of its carminative ingredients, restoring hunger.

Using Dasamoolarishtam regularly (as prescribed) for two to three months can create the following results:

  • Can relieve bloating, and indigestion
  • Can help improve gut health
  • Can boost metabolism
