Henna or Mehndi (Lawsonia inermis) is an evergreen plant known as Madayantika in Ayurveda. The dried leaves of the plant are crushed and made into a fine powder, mixed with water to form a paste, and used as a natural hair pack. Its utilisation dates to the Egyptian civilization where it was used to dye the hair and nails of Pharaohs.

For Normal Hair - hydration & conditioning: mix Henna Powder with room temperature water and apply to scalp and hair as a mask. Leave on for 15 minutes. Massage and wash off with water.
For a light burgundy colour tint: mix Henna Powder with beetroot juice and apply to hair, including roots for even dispersion. Leave on for 20 minutes, and then wash off with room temperature water.
For a brownish colour tint: mix Henna Powder with a tea decoction, yoghurt and lime juice. Apply to hair, including roots for even dispersions, and leave on for 20 minutes. Wash off with room temperature water.
