Excellent quality thailam. Good for relief of Joint pain and knee pain.

Murivenna is derived from two Malayalam words: 'Murivu', which means wound, and 'Enna,' which means oil. Murivenna Ayurvedic Oil, as its name suggests, is one of the most effective Ayurvedic treatments for both internal and exterior wounds. Kerala Ayurveda Murivenna is a classical quick pain relief Ayurveda oil which is an essential part of your first aid box- it is useful in injuries resulting from athletic activities, overstraining, and cuts, burns, and wounds. Made with authentic herbs in a soothing coconut oil base, Murivenna is the best solution to sudden onset of sprain and pulled muscle, reduce inflammation, and in injuries involving pain and swelling.

  • Kanya (Aloe barbadensis)- often known as the burn plant, Aloe vera helps in the quick healing of burns.
  • Sigrupatra (Moringa oleifera)- Moringa leaves help in the quicker healing of wounds. The anti- inflammatory action helps relieve swelling and cramps.
  • Tambula (Piper betel)- Betel leaves help relieve joint inflammation.
  • Keram (Coconut Oil)- Coconut oil helps soothe burns and has anti microbial action.
  • Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus)- Shatavari is dahahara, or helps reduce burning sensation

Take the required amount of Kerala Ayurveda Murivenna Thailam in a bowl. Place this bowl in warm water until it becomes slightly warm. Sit in a comfortable position, on a non- slippery surface, and check if the oil is warm enough by putting a drop on your inner wrist. Massage the affected area. If you have burn, twisted muscles, or sprain, avoid massaging and do a Pichu. Pichu (sponging) is a simple technique to apply and keep medicated oil over the affected part of the body. It obviates the need for bandages in a resting position. Spread a piece of cotton and dip it in the warm oil and apply over the painful area. Maintain the temperature by replacing the cotton with another cotton dipped with warm oil at regular intervals. Take a bath in warm water so that oil penetrates deep into your skin. If you have a sprain, avoid vigorous massaging over the affected area.
